About this wine
Tenuta La Fiammenga
Monferrato (AL), Italy
The wine is harvested manually, with careful selection of the grape clusters, aerated in plastic containers of 20kg maximum weight. The vinification process continues with the crushing and de-stemming, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts and short maceration of the unskinned grapes for 2-5 days, pumped twice daily, over the cap. The wine is then transferred on completion of the alcoholic fermentation and is bottled in Spring time. The wine is finally matured in bottles for 2 months.
Strong, pleasant, and fruity.
Dry, full, harmonious, and persistent.
